8th Grade Gradventure 2020

8th Grade is a great time for our students to celebrate their achievements and be with their friends in a fun environment.  Attached is an outline of the 8th Grade Events being planned for the 2019-2020 School Year at Meadow Woods Middle School.  The students are not required to participate at all in any of these events, but if they would like to the activities are being scheduled for their enjoyment.

We have pre-booked GradVenture at Universal Studios and Island of Adventure for May 1st.  This field trip leaves campus at 2:30 pm and returns to campus after midnight (Last year it was 2:15am).  There is not a discount for Annual Passes because this is a separate ticket admission for the event. The Theme Park is closed to guests and only open to participating Middle Schools.  The students must be with a school to attend. A Food Voucher is included for this event by the theme park, and chaperones are required to pay as well.

If a student has had a disciplinary referral at a Level 3 or Higher, they will need administrative approval to attend any Field Trip.

• Parents might be required to Chaperone in certain circumstances.
  
  
• Chaperone Tickets are $100 and a T-Shirt is included.
  
  
• Chaperone must be ADDiTions Approved before April 1, 2020.

**Tickets Purchased after January 31, 2020 are $10 more. Total price would be $160.00**
Timeline to Pay in Installments:

By December 20, 2019 Deposit $50 – will secure the $150 price

By January 31, 2020 $60 {Total of $110 Paid – Ticket and Shirt}

**No refund after February 1, 2020**

By March 15, 2020 $35

By May 1, 2020 $5 - Dance
