Principal’s Message

Dear Stallion Leaders,
Welcome to Meadow Woods Middle School - a Leader In Me Lighthouse School!
We value academics, and support the positive progression of humanity. Our mission to create enriching and diverse pathways that lead our students to success with the support of families and the community, is deeply rooted within the hearts of every stakeholder in our building. As a Leader in Me Lighthouse School, we are determined to establish and maintain a culture of academic excellence, meanwhile developing our students abilities to hone, own and master all components of leadership. Our staff is committed to empowering our students academically, socially and emotionally by motivating students to lead daily, with structure – in action. Allowing for future generations of humanity to progress and persevere and prosper through unknown limitations.
I look forward to serving our community, building sustained relationships with depth and longevity.
Our Stallion Nation embraces the core paradigms based on Stephen R. Covey’s research:
- Paradigm of Leadership: Everyone can be a leader
- Paradigm of Potential: Everyone has genius
- Paradigm of Change: Change starts with me
- Paradigm of Motivation: Empower students to lead their own learning
- Paradigm of Education: Educators and families partner to develop the whole person
This year’s space theme was selected by our student-leaders. It will be a point of focus in our support in literacy, as well as with everything we do within our school building. Creating an atmosphere where students understand the magnitude of their existential being, empowered in action, locally and globally. Building the leaders of tomorrow means that we must focus on developing the capacity of our leaders today. Focusing on academic prowess, meanwhile maintaining a deep cultural sense in human awareness, supported through performing arts and athletics.
with commitment and dedication in service,
Dr. Vitulli, Ph.D.
