Testing season is quickly approaching with the B.E.S.T. Writing Assessment scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd. In May, students will participate in the third administration (PM3) of the grade 6th, 7th, and 8th Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (F.A.S.T.) Reading and Mathematics assessment(s). Seventh graders will also take the Civics EOC and eighth grade students will take the Statewide Science Exam. Algebra and Geometry students will also take an end-of-year assessment. LEADERSHIP

This month’s Leader in Me habit is Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw.

To Sharpen the Saw means to have a balanced program for self-renewal in the four areas of one’s life: physical, social/emotional, mental, and spiritual. As we renew ourselves in each of the four areas, we create growth and change in our lives. We are encouraging our Stallions to "Sharpen the Saw" and appreciate your support in this endeavor.

We invite you to stay connected by following us on social media for updates and events.

¡Saludos, Familias Stallions!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dearest Stallion families and beloved Meadow Woods community,

Welcome to Meadow Woods Middle School - a Leader In Me Lighthouse School!

We wholeheartedly embrace our mission to create enriching and diverse pathways that lead our students to success with the support of families and the community.  As a Leader in Me Lighthouse School, we strive to establish a culture of social-emotional learning that helps every student build self-confidence and discover their true potential while pursuing academic excellence. Additionally, our staff is committed to creating an uplifting and empowering environment that addresses social-emotional learning by developing 21st Century skills. We will continue to focus on empowering students and staff in the areas of leadership, culture, and academic excellence while prioritizing social-emotional wellness. Addressing the whole child is critical to the success of our students and the team is eager to embark on this journey alongside our families and community.
Meadow Woods Middle embraces the core paradigms based on Stephen R. Covey’s research:

🌟 Paradigm of Leadership: Everyone can be a leader
🌟Paradigm of Potential: Everyone has genius
🌟Paradigm of Change: Change starts with me
🌟Paradigm of Motivation: Empower students to lead their own learning
🌟Paradigm of Education: Educators and families partner to develop the whole person

I look forward to partnering with families and community members as we work together to create a welcoming and collaborative school environment where the voices of families and community partners continue to be embraced within our school. Ultimately, our collective efforts will result in a school where students, staff, and families are inspired to flourish.

Our empowered student leaders selected HARRY POTTER as our theme for the upcoming school year. Harry Potter is a timely theme as it represents unique strengths and growth opportunities, collective efficacy, and the transformative power of uniting as ONE TRIBE to make a difference in our community and world. As we apply our eight habits of highly effective teenagers/people, our Stallion wizards will develop an awareness of our unique talents and leadership abilities, set personal and academic goals to develop our leadership potential, and synergize with peers and our community to inspire and develop our wonderful Meadow Woods community. Together, we are ONE Stallion Strong TRIBE!

In Leadership and Service,

Principal Charisse M. Ninah
