Good afternoon Stallions! 

I am glad to announce that we will be hosting our first ever Virtual Mini-Academy, it will be on Understanding the IEP. 

A Virtual Mini-Academy is when we will be in a "zoom" call-like with a person from the district explaining how to unlock the power of the Individualized Education Plan! They'll break down the IEP program, explaining who it is for, how to get one, and your role in making it work for your child. They will also clarify the difference between an IEP and a 504 plan. 

This webinar is live and we will be able to make any questions we have and get answers to any misunderstandings or confusions we might have. 

I invite you all, even if you aren't sure what an IEP is or if your child may need one, to come and learn something new, and get some insight on how these programs are excellent tools for our children. 

It will be held on September 25, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Registration Link

I am so excited for our first virtual mini academy. I have a link to a Google form in addition to the registration form for the mini academy, to see who can attend. Whenever you can, please fill out the short form to get an estimate of how many people we will have, to set up the location either in the Zen Den or in the MMWS Cafeteria. Thank you so much!

Reminder that the Mini Virtual Academy is tomorrow at 6:00 PM. I will be looking at the google form to see who I will have there. I am so excited to see you all to learn more about IEPs and 504 plans. The meeting will be translated in Spanish as well for all my Spanish Speaking parents.
