Meadow Woods Middle School 7 Habits - Strong Expectations!

Parent Involvement

Meadow Woods Middle School is committed to providing various success-oriented, child-centered programs for our community.  We focus on preparing our students to become reflective thinkers, responsible citizens and self-motivated individuals capable of meeting today’s challenges. We encourage families to join our weekly School Advisory Council (SAC) meetings held each month and stay connected with our school website and social media accounts. To monitor academic performance, families may review grades via Skyward through Skyward Family Access.

Study Skills at Home
Help your child prepare a study area in your home.

Encourage your child to follow these steps:

  • When studying, begin by organizing materials and making a schedule of what you need to do. Refer to your Leadership Notebook for important assignments and due dates.

  • Arrange work in order of priority.

  • Review classwork each night.

  • Allow sufficient time to prepare for assessments.

  • Mark your Leadership Notebook when an assignment is completed and transfer all unfinished tasks to a future date.

  • Review your previous weekly schedule and make any necessary adjustments for the upcoming week.
